Ask your data. Keep exploring.

Ask PlotPeek brings a conversation into your workflow: ask a question, follow up on the answer and review the next chart change. On-device language models interpret your request; PlotPeek calculates the results from your data.

Ask, then follow up

Get means, medians, percentiles, date coverage and dataset counts, or up to six descriptive statistics together. Follow up with another metric or column while keeping the chosen data and row scope. Ask also explains supported features and analysis concepts.

Bring the right data

Search and choose up to four loaded or Project files without changing the plot selection. Attach CSV, Excel or Parquet temporarily for comparisons without adding them to Projects. Missing files or ambiguous columns lead to clear choices.

Review the next chart change

Ask to change the analysis, columns, date range, resampling or smoothing. Review proposed changes before applying them, with Undo for supported changes. Prepare CSV data or PNG, JPEG and PDF plots, then finish through the system save dialog.

Keep answers with your work

Reopen the current conversation and draft, browse chat history, fork a conversation or turn an answer into an editable Note. Optional iCloud Drive chat sync is separate from Projects sync and off by default; temporary attachments are not synced.

A more natural conversation space

Native Liquid Glass controls, quieter source details and better keyboard dismissal keep the focus on the question. Reach Ask from Controls or the Command Bar, with a configurable Mac shortcut. Validated Siri and Shortcuts actions use the same analysis controls.

On-device by design

Interpretation runs locally, and PlotPeek computes fresh results rather than asking a model to calculate them. Source details and reasoning show the operations performed. You can hide Ask in Settings without deleting your chats; cloud inference is not enabled in this beta.

Ask PlotPeek requires a supported device with Apple Intelligence enabled and the on-device model available. This is a beta, not the current App Store release. XLSX and Parquet are supported for import, not export. Try the 1.3 beta on TestFlight

Open Excel and Parquet beside CSV, choose the exact data you need and move through a more polished PlotPeek in English, Italian, French or German.

CSV, Excel and Parquet

Open .xlsx workbooks with worksheet and range selection, or typed Parquet data without converting it first. The same 11 analysis modes remain available and processing stays on device.

The app speaks your language

PlotPeek follows the device language automatically or lets you choose English, Italian, French or German. Dates, labels and controls adapt together.

A calmer workspace

Refined iPad and Mac panels, clearer View and Controls navigation, improved Notes, Settings and Recently Deleted, and better first-source fitting reduce friction.

More control from import to export

Faster CSV handling, worksheet and subsource persistence in Sessions and App Intents, plus export-only Matplotlib styling make recurring work more predictable.

A real Notes workspace

Create Markdown notes with folders, tags, search, Cards or List views, sorting, attachments and Recently Deleted on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Linked to the graph

Link several notes to a graph, save clean and annotated captures, and restore a saved graph snapshot into a new pane without replacing your current workspace.

Sessions you can trust

Save named Sessions from the View and graph menus. Safer startup recovery protects heavy or interrupted workspaces and preserves them for an explicit return.

Less interface, more flow

Pane-local Notes on iPad and Mac, a dedicated iPhone tab, clearer Back, Search and Select actions, mode-specific defaults, granular sync controls and better empty states.

The fast first look at data

The first public release established PlotPeek as a native, lightweight companion for understanding a file quickly before deeper work begins.

Open the file

Import CSV data with robust delimiter and date handling, organize it into Projects, folders and tags, or explore without saving in an incognito session.

Find the signal

Move through 11 analysis modes with filters, resampling, smoothing, primary and secondary axes, Inspect, Zoom, Measure and interactive 3D exploration.

Make the view yours

Adjust themes and per-series appearance, work with several views and graph panes, and save Sessions that bring the workspace back together.

Take the next action

Export filtered CSV, PNG, JPEG or PDF, share with native system tools, and repeat useful imports through Workflows, Siri, Shortcuts and App Intents.
